"The modern world is loud, deformed, and full of peace... yet, a demon from the past walks among the living."

Two months ago, modern science committed the ultimate taboo: they cloned and resurrected the two greatest sword legends in history. Musashi Miyamoto, the bloodthirsty 'Sword Saint' who feels right at home in the brutal Underground Arena, and Kenshin Himura, the legendary Hitokiri Battousai.

While Musashi slaughters his way through modern giants for fun, Kenshin is trapped in a living hell. The Japan he fought for is gone. His beloved Kaoru, his friends, and the peaceful life he earned are nothing but ashes in a history book. Forced into exhibition matches by the scientists who made him, Kenshin refuses to kill, but his golden eyes have seen the news. He has seen Musashi's cruelty, a malice that deeply mirrors his ultimate nightmare: Shishio Makoto. Now, Kenshin is realizing a terrifying truth... to protect this new era, he might have to become a butcher once again.
