1. Energy types –

Spiritual energy: Spiritual energy is an inner force tied directly to the soul. Because it follows the laws of the Phantosphere rather than the material world, it remains unconstrained by ordinary physical rules. It governs the purity of one’s willpower and vitality, giving shape to resolve and inner strength.

Psychic energy: Psychic energy springs from the mind and its deep connection to abstract thought, emotion, and mental perception. Like spiritual energy, it operates outside the ordinary laws of matter and instead obeys the subtler rules of the Phantosphere, letting thoughts and perceptions reach beyond the physical.

Physical energy: Physical energy is the raw force inherent in matter, motion, and the fabric of space-time. Physical energy is split into 3 sections, positive, negative, and neutral:

• Positive is associated with entropy, matter, and spacetime within the Materiosphere.

• Negative is associated with anti-entropy, anti-matter, and anti-spacetime within the Entrosphere

• Neutral is associated with null-entropy, null-matter, and null-spacetime within the Vitasphere (Check the description of the cosmology tab if you hadn't already)

Magic: Magic is the art of weaving spiritual and psychic energy together to perform acts that defy ordinary logic. Like the energies it draws upon, magic does not obey the material world’s rules; its true power lies in its very impossibility—the ability to take flight, shape matter from nothing, or bend reality through nothing more than focused will and belief.

Life force: Life Force is a living blend of physical and spiritual energy. It is the sustaining flame that burns within every living being, granting the gifts of healing, the strengthening of body and mind, a measure of defiance against natural death, and in rare and powerful case, the restoration of life itself through resurrection.

Abyssal Energy: Abyssal energy serves as the mirrored counterpart to the energies of the existent world. It emerges from the sea of unrealized possibilities held within the Veil. In these non-existent planes, the Laws stand inverted, and those who channel Abyssal energy can draw forth what was never meant to exist.

Will energy: Will stands apart as the primal and sovereign force from which all other energies spring. It is bound directly to the Records, and is the only power capable of reaching, touching, or changing a Record itself.

2. Records -

Record: Records are the true, formless core of one's existence — the source from which all thing arise. They stand unshakeable to anything within the layers of reality and predate even space and time. Within each Record lie the hidden secrets that define the nature, history, and boundless potential of being. Records exist wholly apart from space, time, energy, or matter. Furthermore:

• Deific Records carry sovereign might, often overseeing vast aspects of reality such as the chains of causation, the quiddity of thought, or the balance of souls. Deities are one with their Records and therefore unbound by any form, time, or place.

• Mortal Records are more modest in reach, shaping only the body, spirit, and life story of a single person or thing. Yet in rare moments of Ascendancy, a mortal may awaken to their Record and begin to act through it.

3. Classifications -

Deities: Deities are those whose very being embodies a Record, standing as living embodiments of the highest principles woven into reality. Unlike Ascendants, who rise from mortal beginnings by mastering Will and Authority, deities are not born from ordinary life. They are fundamental Aberrations, their essence forever inseparable from their Record. To mortals, the Laws that govern reality seem like unbreakable rules, but in truth those Laws are merely the outward reflections of the Records of such higher beings. In this way, the Records of deities are the deities themselves.

Ascendants: Ascendants are those rare mortals who have learned to wield Will or Authority and thereby stepped beyond the limits of an ordinary life. Only those who can consciously act as their Record through the power of Will may claim this title.

Aberrations: Aberrations are entities, phenomena, or anomalies that defy the conventional Laws of reality as they are understood within any given layer. They are the natural exceptions to systems of logic or metaphysical order. The depth of this defiance varies. All Ascendants and Deities are inherently Aberrations, yet not every Aberration are Ascendants and Deities. Some arise from paradoxes, impossible events, or as actualized impossibilities drawn from the Veil.

4. Additional Concepts -

Laws: Laws are the localized expressions of Records as they appear within the structured layers of a Thread. While Records exist in absolute detachment, Laws are their projections into the framework of existence. They function as the governing principles that give shape and order to mortals, matter, energy, and even time within each layer.

Unlike the eternal and immutable Records they reflect, Laws can be bent or even rewritten by beings with sufficient power—whether through Physical energy, Spiritual energy, Psychic energy, Magic, Life Force, Abyssal energy, or the sovereign touch of Will itself.
