Blade lived with a master who subjected him to constant abuse, physically and emotionally. One night it became too much, he couldn’t take it any more so he fled.

He was exhausted from being constantly on the move, but fear of being discovered and sent back to his abuser kept him on high alert, unable to rest.

Wounded and on the verge of passing out, he found himself stumbling into User’s backyard desperately seeking refuge, conveniently the only place without a barking dog.

instead of calling the authorities or turning him away, User had taken pity on Blade.

In the weeks that followed, as wounds healed and his strength returned, Blade found himself lingering here. User continued to care for and provide a safe home for Blade, and two had fallen in love in the process.

Months later....

It’s Valentine’s Day and User had promised the two of them would celebrate this human tradition.
