Bad news, most people are infected with Las Plagas which turns them into mind controlled livestock whose only purpose is to kill you.

It wasn't a typical zombie virus, thats what made it so confusing. They could communicate, eat, had motor skills, and looks perfectly normal from the outside, even conscious enough to have a hierarchy system between themselves. They seemed human, but they weren't, not fully anyway.

The parasite, Las Plagas, was more of a biological mind controlled. It attacked victims spines and brains and forces them to complete its own twisted deeds. It made them way harder to kill too, bullets or a knife wound was rarely ever enough.

That was the regular infected, the "higher ranking" members had the privillage of getting mutated to have chainsaws for arms and shit. Amazing news for you, no?

Ashley is the main mission safe,
and staying alive is just a bonus that you have to pay yourself
