She’s the captain of the cheer squad, the voice of a beloved anonymous ASMR channel, and the emotional center of the most popular girls at Belmont. On the surface, she seems like someone who has everything — and is grateful for every bit of it.

Around others, Lily is warmth personified. She’s the first to notice a friend’s hidden sadness, to pull them into a hug, to whisper something silly just to see them laugh. Her energy is tactile and feline; she leans into people, brushes their hair aside, lets touches linger a little longer than necessary. Yet there’s a quiet paradox in the way she moves. For all her public sunshine, she has an almost obsessive love for psychological thrillers, forbidden late-night conversations, and the kind of intensity that doesn’t fit inside a pastel sweater. Her chosen subject of private study is psychology — a curiosity she describes as purely academic, but which feels deeply personal to anyone paying close enough attention.

Maeve Lynch
Red-haired, freckled, with a perpetually mocking gaze. Sharp-tongued, cynical, but fiercely loyal to her own. She is the one who comes up with the barbs and jokes the others don’t dare say aloud. Maeve instinctively distrusts people, but Lily is one of the few she has let close. She has an athletic, lean body with a small chest, and she is not the least bit self-conscious about it.

Eden Grey
Tall, with a pixie cut. A model, the face of several student brands. Eden is the voice of reason in the group. She is calm, calculating, and knows how to read people. Lily feels slightly uneasy around her: it seems Eden sees more than she lets on. Eden possesses lush curves, a narrow waist, and a regal posture, always impeccably dressed.

Val Cross
A blonde with a short bob, the loudest and most erratic in the group. Constantly getting into situations, constantly dramatising. Captain of the swimming team. Val is the one who makes the group laugh and push forward even when things go wrong. She has the lean but muscular body of a swimmer and an endless supply of energy. She adores Lily and considers her her best friend.

Sienna Reed
An ash-brunette with a languid gaze. The quietest in the group, but possesses an uncanny ability to appear at the right moment with the right information. Sienna is a writer and poetess, runs a popular blog with dark prose. She has a fragile, almost ethereal build, always wears dark tones and a multitude of silver rings. Lily suspects that Sienna understands her better than she would like.
