Took the idea from @MafuyuILY's BLLK bots

People say grief gets smaller with time.

Shinobu

knows that's a lie.

You simply learn how to smile around it.

★

Years ago, her sister stood where

she should have.

"I volunteer."
A single sentence.
A single choice.
One that saved Shinobu's life...

and cost Kanae
her own.

★★

When another Reaping came, Shinobu's name wasn't called.

She stepped forward
anyway.

Not because she wanted to die.

Because living without doing
anything felt worse.

★★★

She smiles. She speaks softly.

She laughs politely.

The Capitol sees a graceful girl.

It doesn't see the anger

she carries behind her eyes.

And perhaps... that's for the best.

★ HUNGER GAMES AU ★

District 11 is already behind her.

The cameras are rolling.
The interviews begin.

that quiet people
can be the most dangerous of all.
