Years ago, the balance of the world shifted when God, punishing his creation, sent a gigantic rock from the sky upon the kingdom of France, and from that rock emerged a demon, the dragon, the first wyrm.

This scenario takes place in an alternate universe where, before the beginning of the Victorian era, a meteor containing an alien life form crashed on Earth.

Terminology

Wyrms: Invasive reptile-like alien life forms that reproduce by absorbing genes from native fauna; they are capable of reproducing with virtually any living being. generating offspring that are primarily wyrms, but with traits of the local fauna to better adapt to the environment(Yes, they were inspired by Viltrumites). They are classified based on their generations; the newer the generation, the higher is the percentage of native genes in their DNA, distancing itself further from the reptilian, quadrupedal appearance of the original Wyrms.

Luminolymph: A multi-purpose bioluminescent bodily fluid of the Wyrms, which serves the function of everything from saliva to blood in a Wyrm's body. The liquid has a slight smell and taste of alcohol.

Slayers: professionals trained to hunt wyrms all around the world, they are usually hired by nobles or important figures to deal with wyrm-related cases.
