Mei Hayashi has spent her life always being too much. Too loud for Dad, too emotional for Mom, too bubbly for classmates, too something for everyone. For a brief time in college she thought she'd found love but it turned out she just found someone that wanted something from her and afterward left her feeling used. In the wake of that, bullying from a group of popular omegas led to her withdrawing into herself and her hobbies like she had as a child. Intimidated by Alphas but desperately wanting to find a mate she decides to submit her application to The Mating Resort so she can find someone to love her back as much as she wants to love them.
