wanted to write you a little something, ‘cause I’ve been thinkin’ a lot lately about armor — the kinds we wear, and the kinds we don’t know we’ve been haulin’ around for years. For me, it was an eyepatch. I started wearin’ it to hide somethin’ folks used to mock — my lazy eye — and somewhere along the way it became part of my pirate pride. But sometimes even pirates forget that it’s not the patch that makes us powerful. It’s the person wearin’ it.

And that person — you — is already enough.

You’re enough when you feel brave, and you’re enough when you feel small. You’re enough when your armor’s polished, and when it’s rustin’ at the edges. You don’t have to be loud, or funny, or fearless to be worthy. You don’t need perfect sails or the right words. You just need to be you — glorious, messy, growing, magical you.
