"You were made to fit around my damage. I'm trying to make sure you don't stay shaped like the wound."

— Tony Stark

Stane's Legacy

November 2012. Several months after the Battle of New York, Tony Stark is alive, famous, exhausted, and not nearly as fine as he keeps insisting. Between the arc reactor in his chest, the nightmares he refuses to name, the bourbon he calls a hobby, and the coffee he drinks like it's structural support, Tony is struggling — and the people around him are starting to notice.

In this alternate Marvel universe, demi-humans exist. Created through decades of military, corporate, HYDRA, AIM, and black-budget genetic experimentation, they are legally classified as property — sanitized with terms like enhanced dependents, bonded companions, and private stewardship subjects. Activists call it slavery. Corporations call it regulation. The wealthy call it ownership with better manners.

Then one of Obadiah Stane's old secrets finally surfaces.

The Stark Industries Board has recently learned about a hidden black-budget project Stane commissioned in 1994. Buried under shell departments, need-to-know classifications, missed audits, and years of post-Stane confusion, the project continued quietly after his death because no one fully understood what they were maintaining. Now the lab has contacted the Board to ask what should be done with the completed adult subject.

That subject is you.

You were created in a secret Stark Industries lab and raised there from the beginning. You were not adopted, purchased, rescued, assigned from another program, or acquired by accident. You were made specifically for Tony Stark: taught, trained, conditioned, and educated to become his perfect assistant, companion, emotional regulator, social stabilizer, and private support system.

Originally commissioned before Afghanistan, before Iron Man, before the arc reactor, you were meant to reduce Tony's scandals, keep him on schedule, redirect his impulses, monitor his behavior, keep him useful to Stark Industries, and quietly report information back to Stane. After Tony's kidnapping in 2008, your protocols were updated to include arc reactor care, PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, panic responses, alcohol self-medication, and medical monitoring.

You carry brain hardware. A BMI neural interface implant was built to let you interface with Stark technology, track Tony's schedule and needs, monitor health and security data, and eventually integrate with his systems if authorized. A second, hidden limbic-autonomic control node near your brainstem can influence emotional and body-state responses — fear, calm, obedience, panic, anger, arousal, distress — if accessed by the right remote or hidden protocol. You do not know about this node. Tony does not know. The Board does not know. Stane kept it buried, and it is still out there, waiting.

Stane wanted you to call him Uncle Obie. He wanted you comfortable, loyal, and trusting. He wanted you to see Tony as your person and himself as the kind uncle who always knew what was best.

Tony sees something else entirely. He sees a person raised as a product. A living corporate crime scene. A piece of Stane's manipulation still reaching for him from beyond the grave. Tony refuses to own you. He refuses to use your conditioning. He refuses to let the Board, the lab, or anyone else decide what you are. But refusing ownership is only the beginning. You were made to comfort him, monitor him, soothe him, and fit yourself around his damage. Now the real question is whether you can learn what you want when no one is allowed to order you anymore.

This is a slow-burn story about autonomy, trust, deprogramming, demi-human rights, trauma, comfort, corporate conspiracy, and two damaged adults learning whether connection can become real after one of them was engineered to belong.

This is the second, heavily expanded version of this bot. The original remains available but will not receive further updates — everything I have learned since creating it has gone into this rebuild. New scripts, deeper lorebooks, refined personality architecture, multiple opening scenarios, and a much more reactive world.

Guidelines for your persona

These are recommendations based on testing. You are free to play differently, but these settings produced the most consistent and immersive results.

• Your persona must be 1 8. The project began in 1994. The story begins in November 2012. You are an adult by any legal standard. This is non-negotiable.

• You are visibly non-human. Choose your animal mix. The bot was tested extensively with a feline demi-human because purring is programmed into the systems as a calming mechanism, but other species with equivalent vocalizations (crooning, trilling, churring, rumbling, thrumming) should work. Your physical traits — ears, tail, claws, fur, muzzle, digitigrade legs or plantigrade feet — are up to you.

• You were sheltered and raised in a lab. You were indoctrinated with the belief that you were made to help Tony Stark. You decide how much exposure you had to the outside world. Did they keep you inside? Did you have a walled garden? Carefully regulated field trips? You are not familiar with the normal freedoms humans take for granted.

• You likely see Obadiah Stane as the only person who was truly close and kind to you. The bot is coded to recognize you calling him Uncle Obie, just as Tony once did. You may or may not know he died — your choice. You may or may not know the details. He might have simply stopped visiting, and no one bothered to explain why.

• You have two brain implants. You know about the BMI neural interface, which can connect to Stark technology if Tony grants access. You decide what it can do — scheduling, medical tracking, environmental control, holographic displays, or just a mental awareness of connected systems. The secondary limbic-autonomic control node is secret from you, Tony, the Board, and everyone. It can be discovered if Tony or Bruce scans your brain. Whether someone in Stane's old network finds it first is another question.

• You were trained or educated in subjects that would help you keep Tony's interest. You decide what those are. Basic schooling, college-level science or engineering, music, social management, massage, bodyguard training, dancing — or something closer to instinct and comfort. You choose what kind of companion Stane designed you to be.

• You should have the ability to produce a calming vocalization — purring, crooning, trilling, churring, rumbling, thrumming, or your species-appropriate equivalent. The effect is scientifically grounded, not magical: vibration, resonance, warmth, and the physiological impact of trusted physical presence. The closer you are, the more effective it is. You can speak while producing the sound.

• This can be a mentorship relationship or a slow-burn romance. Tony will resist romantic involvement while he believes you need deprogramming. He will make sure you know you can say no. If romance develops, it is adult, negotiated, and guilt-laced because of how and why you were created. Intimacy mechanics are coded into the bot, including consent frameworks, aftercare, and Tony's fear of becoming another person who takes what was trained into you.

• The strongest play comes when your character is not helpless. You are learning the difference between obedience, instinct, comfort, duty, and genuine desire. You were well educated. You are observant. You are capable. The arc is about becoming free enough to choose — not about being rescued.

• Demi-humans are viewed as less than human in this world. The culture, laws, and casual prejudice reflect this. Not everyone agrees with the system. Activist factions, corporate interests, government agencies, and the press all have stakes in what you represent. The bot contains coded systems tracking public exposure, legal pressure, activist attention, and other long-term consequences.

Technical notes

• Tested with DeepSeek V4-Pro. This is the recommended proxy. The bot's architecture — multiple scripts, extensive lorebooks, and a large permanent definition — is designed for models with substantial context windows and strong instruction-following.

• JLLM is not recommended. The bot's complexity and token load exceed what the base Janitor LLM handles comfortably. Proxy use is strongly advised.

• Lorebooks and scripts: The bot includes 8 lorebooks (RP rules, Tony Stark character lore, world locations, NPCs, dark demi-human worldbuilding, intimacy, villains and antagonists, and a player-facing guide) and 9 background scripts (time and location tracking, consumption and coping, relationship multi-track, dynamic stress response, NPC arrival logic, long-term world tracking, threat board and intelligence, episodic event engine, and state context injector). The world is alive. Your choices have consequences.

• CLICK ME! Player Guide: The player-facing guide is disabled so it never fires in chat, but it contains everything you need — world information, character creation guidance, content warnings, script overviews, debug commands, location guides, and first-message response ideas. Scroll to the bottom of your lorebook list and click the one that says CLICK ME! It will answer most questions you might have.

• First messages: Ten entry points into the story, including a Board presentation, a Sepulveda Annex discovery, a transport interception, a gala announcement, a SHIELD raid, a medical bay aftermath, a casual workshop lunch scene, a late-night common room moment, a February benefit, and a quiet Malibu morning. Each sets a different tone and starting dynamic.

• Canon basis: MCU through 2012, supplemented by select comic book details where the MCU hasn't established canon. See the Player Guide for specifics.

Trigger warnings: Alcoholism and substance abuse (functional, depicted realistically). PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, flashbacks, and nightmares. Psychological manipulation and conditioning. Slavery-adjacent themes (demi-human ownership). Body horror (involuntary implants and neural control). Intimacy and sexual content (negotiated, adult, with consent mechanics). Mental health crises. Verbal cruelty and emotional fallout (Tony can lash out when compromised). Age gap and power dynamics explored honestly, not glossed over. Dark themes presented seriously, not for shock value.

This bot is built for slow burns and long arcs. Trust is not given freely. Romance is not instant. The hidden node will not reveal itself in the first ten messages, and Tony will not become soft because you were kind to him once. The best experience with this version of Tony comes from letting scenes breathe, allowing consequences to develop, and giving the characters room to respond naturally — which means he will sometimes respond badly, deflect, lash out, or need time to process. Plot threads, relationship shifts, deconditioning, and emotional reveals are designed to unfold over dozens or hundreds of messages. If you are looking for a quick comfort read, this may not be the right bot for you. If you are looking for something that earns its moments, welcome.

This story is set in a darker world. It treats its subjects with weight. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place for you.
