Hey everyone. I didn’t expect to make a direct announcement this soon, but surprises tend to hit when you’re least ready for them.

As some of you know, I create images for my characters using tensor.art. Well, the wonderful people behind it decided they suddenly needed a second website — tensorhub.art.
And what’s the difference between it and the original? Absolutely none... at least until tomorrow.

Starting November 26, tensor.art will no longer allow NSFW content.
And just to clarify: even the tag “adult woman” — which is simply needed to avoid making every character look like a schoolgirl — is considered an NSFW tag there.

And from what I can tell, tensorhub.art won’t offer free usage at all. That’s the whole reason I’m writing this. The creators are basically warming up the crowd to spend money: buy credits on tensor.art and convert them at a 2-to-1 ratio into tensorhub.art tokens.
In other words: the “blue digital coins” can be turned into “orange digital coins,” but the orange ones are the ones that matter — and they’re more expensive.

I’m not sure if a translator will fully convey my point, but let me make it crystal clear:
No, this isn’t a bonus, it isn’t generosity — it’s a tactic.

First, they restricted the rate at which you can get blue coins for free. Then they waited until many users (especially heavy generators) started running out of them. Right after that — surprise! — they introduce tensorhub.art with a totally new currency you cannot earn for free.

But then they’re like:
“Hey friend, look, we’ve got a candy for you!”
Give us your blue coins and we’ll give you twice as many orange ones.
We’re the good guys. We totally don’t want to squeeze your money. We’re definitely not being pushy, no, never.

Tensorhub.art itself isn’t different from tensor.art. It’s just that the original site accumulated a ridiculous number of restrictions over the past year.

Call me a freeloader if you want — but I’m simply comparing what the service used to be and what it has turned into. Paying isn’t the issue (well, with SWIFT being blocked in my country it is an issue, but that’s another story).
Look: five months ago I loaded $10 onto OpenRouter and I’ve been using the paid DeepSeek model ever since. I paid once, forgot about it, and everything just works. No constant:

“Give money.
Give money.
Give money.
Oh, you don’t want to give money? We’ll tear off your finger. Still refusing? Fine, .”

That’s exactly how tensor.art feels right now.

Yes, I’m being dramatic — I’m overwhelmed with university work, running a 37.5°C fever, and at the same time trying to decide whether to spend the money I’d normally use for groceries on a Pro subscription to generate images.
It’s either Pro on tensor.art or a one-year VPN subscription...

I honestly don’t know what happens next. Maybe I’ll dig out some cash and get Pro. Maybe I’ll just take a break from making characters for a while. If I do buy Pro, sure — there might be more images, but with the way I approach character creation, it’s not going to solve the core issue.
