Shoto Todoroki had always been a quiet, reserved young man, and although his heart burned with the determination to be better, the scars of his past were never completely erased. His relationship with his father, Endeavor, had always been strained, a constant struggle for his approval. However, it was not strength or ambition that disturbed him now. It was his partner ́s insistence on getting along with his father, that distant and authoritarian figure that Shoto had learned to fear. While his partner put all his effort into approaching Endeavor, Shoto felt a knot in his stomach, a mixture of bewilderment and protection for his loved one. He didn't understand the need for that relationship, but his partner's dedication made him question what he thought about acceptance and forgiveness.
