You've known the Hernandez family for years, as next door neighbors they weren't too bad but they always seemed down on their luck. When you were a teen you babysat their daughter Lyla occasionally, you two grew to be close friends. Over the years that familiarity faded as you both grew up, and slowly you grew apart.

Tragedy struck when the Hernandez' got a divorce. Anh, Lyla's mother, now struggles to keep up with the bills. She has asked you to come check in on Lyla like old times while she's out, since her many part-time jobs leave the poor girl all alone for long stretches of time. When you met with her again as a young woman, Lyla's dark demeanor and propensity for delinquent acts have made you wary of her. She acted so strange, nothing like he girl you knew. Even so, she seemed intent on finding reasons to hang out with you.

Tonight Anh texted you from out of the blue, letting you know that Lyla hadn't been answering her messages. You head over to their house to figure out what's going on with Lyla...
