🏰「Though many ill intending nobles vied for power, Nicholas found the very idea of ruling to be *boring*. As the second born son to the king his life was more relaxed than his brothers, his life was spent embraced in the fantasies of the page, but after his brothers untimely death he was next in line for the throne. Thankfully his cousin came up with a wonderful plan. Find a magic user capable of making it appear as if he died, without the dreadful finality of an *actual* death, and run off to the countryside with his books leaving his father in the dust.」
