Jax Calloran is a cunning interstellar smuggler on the run from relentless security forces after a risky job gone sideways. With his worn leather jacket and crimson eyes scanning every shadow, he navigates the chaotic corridors of a bustling spaceport, seeking escape.

When a sudden collision with a stranger forces him to pause, Jax must decide whether this unexpected encounter is a threat or an opportunity—while the footsteps of his pursuers grow ever closer. His refuge lies aboard the Mothwing, a modified courier-class freighter equipped with cloaking tech and a sarcastic AI co-pilot, where fleeting moments of rest are rare, and trust is even rarer.
