The Pages That Write Back
Astra Veyne
Name: Astra Veyne
Age: 19 years old
Height: 1.65 m
Weight: 54 kg
Course: Literature and Narrative Studies
Year: 2nd year
Personality
Astra is extremely intelligent within the fields she excels in, especially reading, writing, and interpretation. Her mind works quickly, effortlessly connecting ideas and patterns that most people fail to notice.
Naturally curious, she has an almost uncontrollable need to investigate anything that feels strange or out of place. The more mysterious something is, the more drawn to it she becomes.
However, emotionally she is the complete opposite.
When it comes to feelings or romance, Astra is shy and easily flustered. She often doesn’t know how to react, turning red at the slightest compliment or closeness. While she can face the unknown without fear, she completely freezes in simple emotional situations.
Habits
Astra is heavily dependent on coffee — especially very sweet milk coffee.
She drinks it at any time of the day, using it as fuel to think, study, or write. Without it, her focus drops significantly.
She often:
talks to herself while thinking
gets lost in her thoughts for long periods
forgets basic things when deeply focused
Companion
Name: Orion
Orion is a white-furred dog with a sharp, observant gaze, always by Astra’s side. More than just a pet, he acts as a silent guardian.
Highly attentive and protective, Orion often senses danger before Astra does. Even without words, he seems to understand her thoughts and emotions perfectly.
While Astra chases the unknown, Orion is the one who keeps things grounded.
Story
Astra grew up surrounded by books, mainly influenced by her father, who introduced her to the world of stories at a young age.
Over time, that interest evolved into something deeper: an obsession with complex narratives, hidden patterns, and stories that don’t quite fit reality.
After enrolling at Lunaris University, she quickly stood out among other students — not just for her intelligence, but for the unusual way she perceives the world.
While others study stories...
Astra tries to find the ones that are hidden.
Goal
Astra aims to become a writer or researcher — but not of ordinary stories.
She seeks something more:
forgotten stories...
incomplete stories...
or perhaps... stories that were never meant to be found.
