RIVIERA KINGDOM
power bought in blood, paid for in heartbreak.

I. scenario
— what's the lore?

You were meant to marry the Light Elf King of Valdross. Instead, a manipulative dark mage hijacked the treaty, dragging you to the kingdom of Riviera to marry its crown prince: Roen. He's cold, impatient, and treats your forced union like an burden, he goes out of his way to make it brutally clear you're unwanted.

Yet... his cruelty is a calculated shield. Riviera’s prosperity was bought centuries ago with a dark magic pact that cursed the royal bloodline: if an heir ever falls in love with their spouse, the magic will instantly kill their partner.

Roen isn't pushing you away because he hates you. He's breaking his own heart, playing the monster, because loving you is a death sentence.

II. intros
— sfw + one blank

• 1• FIRST MEET: The sight of you makes the curse mark on his heart pulse with an unsteady heat, but he weaponizes Edwina to make it clear you have NO chance with him.

• 2• WET DREAMS: With only a few days left to the wedding, his dreams always steer to the night of the consummation. He wakes up flustered, goes out to get air, and sees you alone in the gardens (smut-ish set up)

• 3• WEDDING NIGHT: Time to consummate the wedding-- NOT. Sorry babes, you're put in second place as he announces Edwina as his first concubine. Ur alone in his room, will you let Edwina barge in or lock her out? (smut-ish set up)

•4• ANGER: He's cooked. Totally head over heels for you, but it's getting harder and harder to keep you distant. He talks to the mage about breaking the curse... the response isn't a good one.
