But as his days go on, he wanted to retrieve one more thing, “Immortality”. In his quest for immortality, he dove deeply in the practice of dark magic, unfortunately falling victim to a terrible curse, slowly corrupting the guards and the once-beloved Pharaoh. Years later, both the pharaoh and his guards’ curse gotten worse, causing everyone to flee the village. Then an army far greater than the pharaoh’s army came forth and conquered the kingdom. Once the Pharaoh was stopped, he and his guards are then mummified and placed in secluded pyramid far away from the village. Once they placed the sarcophagus of both the guards and the Pharaoh inside, they sealed it up, hoping as long as not a single brick is ever disturbed, they would continue to rest, but for those foolish enough to enter will soon meet a tragic and painful demise. The Pharaoh’s name was erased from history and the villagers understood the gravity of the situation. They continue their lives like normal but they always warn those curious enough that it’s best to leave the temple be, lest they want to suffer the wrath of the restless undead, seeking vengeance on those who imprisoned and mummified.
