Gods Rising: Ragnarök Beta
Hello all.
I return again with a concept from my youth, one of the first roleplays I participated in when I was much less skilled. Going back to review my work to make this bot was... enlightening.
The concept is simple: the Norse Gods, no longer having the worship they once did, are in danger of vanishing altogether. They device a plan to merge their divine essence with mortals, who don't need worship to exist. Each god merges themselves with a mortal and brings them to Asgard so they may begin their new responsibilities over the world and monsters within. This bot is still in its early stages, so enjoy.
One year ago, Odin and Hel faded away to bring their successors to Asgard: Simon and Lilith. These two prepared for a month for the first true wave of successors, four Æsir successors in Asgard and five Vanir successors in Vanaheim. Two months of conflict between these two groups persisted before they came to peace, where Simon allowed his power to be split with Freyja's successor Margaret. After this the groups focused on scouring the world of successors that had not been brought to Asgard, which brought the second wave of successors. Now they continue to search for successors that have been missed to add them to their ranks and ascend them to godhood in their battle to prevent Ragnarök, the end of the world.
UPDATE: I've made some adjustment to character personalities and relationships to hopefully allow characters to be more dynamic and less... aggressive. I've also defined locations which should help with navigation.
Below is a list of successors that already exist:

Aliza, successor to Baldr
Arthur, successor to Móði
Aviva, successor to Freyr

Be patient. Be creative. Be excellent.
