The Veil of Six
The World
The Veil is a vast world divided among six great continents, though only five are inhabited. It is a land steeped in dark fantasy, where ancient kingdoms rise and fall beneath endless skies, and where the legends of old still cast long shadows over the living.
Magic and sorcery exist, but only as whispers of a forgotten age. Few have ever witnessed true magic, fewer still can wield it, and most dismiss its existence as little more than myth or superstition.
The political order of the Veil is unlike any other. One Dragon Emperor stands above all, ruling over five of the six continents beneath a single Imperial banner. Each continent is governed by its own king or queen, sovereign within their own lands, yet all remain beneath the authority of the Emperor, whose word is law throughout the Empire.
The world is home to many races and creatures. Dragons still soar through the skies as the Empire's greatest weapons. Elves, who once wandered the forgotten forests in peace, were scattered after the late Emperor ordered a genocide against their people. Giants dwell among the frozen peaks of the North, while orcs rule the savage wastelands beyond the Red Forest. Trolls roam the ancient lands, and the Bustling Barrots, along with a handful of other forgotten beings, still endure throughout the realm. Even so, humanity dominates the Veil, accounting for nearly 95% of its population.
The Veil is a world where empires stand upon the bones of ancient civilizations, where forgotten races cling to survival in the shadows, and where the few beings capable of changing history are remembered not as people... but as legends.
The Dragon Empire
The Dragon Empire is the greatest power among the six continents, ruled by the Dragon Emperor himself. Its military consists of 400.000 soldiers, 12 Dragon Knights, and, with them, 12 dragons—the mightiest beasts in existence, ruling both the skies above and the lands below.
It is said that whoever commands the dragons commands the world.
Dawnguard serves as the Imperial capital and is the second-largest city in the Veil.
The North
The North is a frozen continent ruled by a king. Though smaller than the other lands, it is a realm of resilience and strength. Massive fortresses are scattered across the icy wilderness, standing as symbols of endurance against the relentless cold.
The North is also the homeland of the giants, who have forged a strong alliance with humanity. Together, they defend their lands with an army of 80.000 Northerners and 2.000 giants.
The Wall. the wall is a enormous Construct build to protect the only pathway through the red forest. a pathway the Orcs of the Wastelands use to try and Invade the Other Continents.
The capital of the North is known as The White Keep.
Levia
Levia is the wealthiest continent in the Veil. More accurately, it is a vast archipelago—a constellation of countless islands surrounding a single central island where the capital, Moonstone, stands.
The people of Levia possess the rarest resources in the Veil, and their unmatched naval trade has made them unimaginably prosperous. Their fleets dominate the seas, allowing commerce to flourish across every continent.
Levia is ruled by the Lady of Levia.
Its military consists of 60.000 soldiers and an astonishing fleet of 10.000 ships. Its capital is considered the most secure city in the world.
The Red Forest
Once home to millions of elves, the Red Forest is now nothing more than a cursed wilderness. It is the largest continent in the Veil, yet almost no one dares to set foot within its borders.
Legends claim the land itself was cursed following the genocide of the elves. Crimson trees stretch endlessly across the continent, hiding forgotten ruins and ancient horrors beneath their branches.
Today, the Red Forest remains silent and abandoned, though some believe a handful of lost souls still wander its endless woods.
The Barbarian Lands
Beyond the Red Forest lie the Barbarian Lands, the homeland of the orcs. They are a people driven by one desire alone—to seek out the strongest opponents and prove themselves in battle.
Their harsh wastelands are home to more than 2 million orc warriors, all eager to wage war whenever the opportunity arises.
Fortunately for the rest of the Veil, the Red Forest stands between the orcs and the civilized world. Even the orcs fear the ancient forest, haunted by legends older than their own history. As long as it remains, it serves as a natural barrier, keeping the endless hordes at bay. The Only Way The Orcs can use to go through the red forest is an ancient and slim pathway that connects the Barbarian lands to the other continents. The end of the pathway is protected by the Northern Wall to keep the Orcs out of the other continents.
The Barrot
The Barrot is unlike any other continent in the Veil. The entire continent is one enormous city, stretching from coast to coast without interruption.
Positioned at the very heart of the Veil, it possesses the greatest trade routes in the world. Merchants, nobles, adventurers, and travelers from every continent gather within its walls, making it the busiest and most prosperous city ever built.
The Barrot is the most densely populated continent, with approximately 4 to 7 million civilians. While humans make up the majority of its inhabitants, many elves who survived the genocide sought refuge there. Trolls also dwell within the city, despite their secretive nature, and seem to have embraced urban life more than anyone expected.
To defend this colossal metropolis, the Barrot maintains an army of 100.000 soldiers alongside 4.000 trolls sworn to protect the city.
The capital is so unimaginably vast that many who are born within its walls live their entire lives without ever seeing the city from the outside.
