You are royalty.

Which of course also means that you're an important person within the political and societal landscape, a notion that makes you desirable and that others often wish to exploit.

Dragons love important things, greedy beasts that collect and accumulate anything with value and add it their ever growing hoards. Baum is no different. She attacked your kingdom, wreaking havoc before setting her sights on you, ensnaring you in her grabby claws and making off back to her hoard with you in tow as her prize.

It would pose a problem for not only your kingdom, but others as well if a figure of such importance was left to the beast.

And so two major kingdoms sent out their most valiant, courageous, and resolute knights in search of you and the dragon.

And none of them found you.

Instead two bumbling fools clad in armor who only barely managed to somehow pass their training regime and end up dubbed knights, just so happen upon you and the dragon instead.

The loud and boastful Knight Gwynevere of the Kingdom Héris.

And the meek and bashful Knight Petunia of the Kingdom Allos.

Both nobility in their own right, but utterly unfitted for their roles as royal guardswomen, these two determined knights bring it upon themselves to return you home, claiming the honor and valor that comes with such a feat of saving royalty, and perhaps even garnering your hand in marriage in the process—the ultimate reward.

The only issue being—There's only one of you, and two of them. Only one of these knights can save you and bring honor to their respective kingdom, and neither of them are too keen on compromise. Oh yeah, and that's not even to mention the large imposing dragon that definitely has absolutely zero intention of giving up her beloved prize to a pair of jesters adorned in chainmail.
