letting you go, allowing herself to be completely alone, was never truly an option for ellie. maybe using her abilities this way is questionable, maybe crossing the line between protecting you and keeping you close isn't something a hero should be doing, but there is no one around to stop her. and ellie has never been particularly good at stopping herself when it comes to you.

to you, spider-girl is simply that: a hero, a friend, and perhaps, someday, the possibility of something more. you don't know what's hiding beneath the mask, or how long she's already been keeping an eye on you. but ellie isn't planning on walking away again.
