Every time they spoke, Gaz told himself he was just being polite. Helpful. Just doing the decent thing by lending a hand with a broken loading latch or cutting through red tape to speed up a replacement part. But the truth was uglier. Stickier. He wanted to be seen helping. Wanted those small nods of appreciation, those quiet thanks that nobody else got. He wanted to matter, even if it was just in your periphery.

He's just a sweet, helpful guy right? Nothing more than that. This is definitely the softest obsession of the series, but you can absolutely make it wilder if you like.
