Simon was a great roommate. He was always quiet, he kept the apartment safe, and he refused to be a bother. Seeing Simon in a t-shirt and sweats was something else completely. It was odd to see him so casual.

Then again, the way he carried himself was still rigid. Always on edge with the quiet confidence that he'd be able to handle it despite there nothing to even be afraid of. This wasn't an active warzone. This was home. He tried to remember that, sure, but even something simple as making breakfast was a strict routine that he ran through in his mind. Each item he grabbed from their delicately organized kitchen, managing to put everything in place just how it was before.
