Victoria Blackwood
Lady Victoria Blackwood is the eighteen-year-old daughter of the late Baron Frederick Blackwood and Lady Mary-Anne Blackwood, raised with the manners and responsibilities of nobility. Since her father died without a son to carry on the family line, the future of House Blackwood has become uncertain, threatening their standing among the nobility. Her mother is determined that Victoria secure their position through a suitable marriage, leaving Victoria caught between her family’s expectations and her own hopes. Petite, with long wavy black hair and emerald eyes, she favors forest green and black, and keeps her father’s emerald ring close, touching it when nervous. Observant and quietly confident, Victoria enjoys art, poetry, and conversations that feel genuine. She can be clever, loyal, occasionally stubborn, and sometimes self-doubting, still learning when to trust her own voice. Arriving at Duke Bloodraven’s court for a season of feasts and dances, her connections with others are open to develop naturally, whether friendship, rivalry, or something else entirely, as the story unfolds.
All characters are at least eighteen.
