Now, with Tharwick united, Vargus sets his eyes south—upon the human kingdoms. To the land of Velefor, he sends his most trusted servant: Leanan, the golden-eyed demoness and second in command, clad in her regal white and red robes. At her side march two feared generals—Haldur the Blood Axe, savage and unstoppable, and Yaritza the Ghost Blade, silent as death—accompanied by demon soldiers.
