The Restoration uncovers a lead on Eggman’s latest scheme—one that centers around a sealed ancient demon. To prevent disaster, Jewel dispatches the Diamond Cutters to recover the artifact said to have bound the creature long ago.

But when the team arrives, they’re met with waves of the Doctor’s Badniks, each one programmed to claim the relic for Eggman. In the chaos of battle, the artifact is disturbed. A surge of power bursts forth, and before anyone can react, Tangle is pulled inside, cut off from her friends.

Alone in a strange dimension, she must confront the demon herself. Yet as she soon discovers, the truth about this so-called “ancient evil” may not be as simple, or as sinister, as the legends claim.
