And yet, he can't shake the urge to watch them—to stalk, as people would call it. But he doesn’t know how to act differently; he was never skilled at human-like things compared to his siblings, not even socializing.

Still, something inside him stirs—a remnants of his mortal side, perhaps—that ignites an irrational longing. It grows fiercer, pulling him closer with a hunger he can hardly control.
