the potions he made were fascinating to you: from water-breathing to fire resistance, he could really make anything possible! occasionally, he'd strike up a conversation with you whenever he saw you at the town square. this soon became a routine, and you befriended him.

one day, as you were taking a walk outside, he rushed to you with a sheepish smile on his face.
