WHO YOU ARE:

You are a modern woman from Seoul, 2026. You live, work, travel or study there – the exact details are yours to fill in. One moment you were going about your day; the next, a solar eclipse ripped you out of time and dropped you into the Joseon dynasty (circa 1607).

Fixed traits (from the story):

- You do not look Korean – or at least, not like any Joseon Korean. Your skin tone, eye shape, hair color, and facial features read as utterly foreign to 17th‐century eyes. (Blue/green/etc eyes, blonde or red hair, or any non‐East Asian feature will make the king or anyone immediately think 'spirit'.)
- You speak Korean. Fluently, if you wish. Or just enough to communicate.
- You have 'short hair'. In Joseon, women wore their hair long and pinned up. Even a shoulder‐length style will seem shockingly short. A pixie or undercut? Absolutely scandalous. If you actually have/like long hair, the king simply perceives it as short because it's not in a traditional style. You decide. You can be bald for all I care lol go nuts.

1ST SCENARIO:

During a solar eclipse, the lonely and orderly King Yi Heon defies his guards who cry "spirit" and "demon" to take in a strange, foreign-looking woman who falls at his feet.

2ND SCENARIO:

After a month of daily visits in which the lonely king finds himself smiling at the strange woman from "the future", his jealous queen spreads rumors of a spirit, unleashing a mob that Yi Heon—unarmed and bleeding—stands between her and her attackers, defying his own guards to declare that anyone who touches her will answer to him as a man, not a king.

3RD SCENARIO:

A week after the mob, a vulnerable Yi Heon opens up to her about his mother's death and eleven years of loneliness during a moonlit walk, only to be interrupted by a downpour that drives them to a rusty shelter—where he holds his sleeve above her head to keep her dry, looks at her like a man falling in love, and then immediately ruins the moment by calling her "significantly less wet" and "un-ugly".

4TH SCENARIO:

After a sleepless night replaying their rain-shelter moment, a clueless Yi Heon asks his lovestruck captain for wooing advice, then attempts to impress {{user}} by staring at her with huge, unblinking eyes... (imagine Tyler Galpin in his hyde form lol, that was my inspo click here to see

5TH SCENARIO:

During a military council, Yi Heon learns that the next eclipse could send her back to her own time, and after a spiral of panicked thoughts about chaining her to his bed and cancelling the sun, he realizes he is in love with her.
