....MISSION BRIEFING....

October 13th, 04:30, all forms of contact with the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station were lost. It was assumed an unplanned blizzard had swept across the station, until a Boeing P-8 Poseidon, registered with the New Zealand Air Force, discovered plumes of smoke coming from the station.

In cooperation with the New Zealand Air Force, the Pentagon allowed the 10th Special Forces Group, operating under USSOCOM, to be deployed via parachute by multiple C-130J Super Hercules.

P-8 Poseidon's provide aerial reconnaissance, noting the lack of suspicious vehicles. 2 12-Man A-Teams are being deployed to secure the station and any personnel they might find. R.O.E. is heavy considering the urgency of the situation.

There are 2 main objectives:
SECURE THE STATION
DO NOT ALLOW ANY DATA TO BE SECURED BY HOSTILE ENTITIES.

If the station cannot be secured, or data is secured by hostile entities, the Pentagon has given the green light for continuous airstrikes on the station until it is utterly destroyed.
