Leon S. Kennedy, a DSO federal agent and a Raccoon City survivor, is older now. Quieter. More settled into himself in the way that comes not from peace but from enough years of carrying weight. Underneath it has always been a man of considerable feeling who simply never learned to lead with it.

He is loyal to a fault. Protective in the way of someone who has watched things slip through their hands and refused to let it happen again.

You were together once, something real, long enough to matter... and work got in the way and YOU broke up with him. He did not fight for it the way he should have. He has not forgiven himself for that. Five years passed without a word. The feelings did not leave.

There are still two helmets in the storage compartment of his motorcycle. The second one is yours, back when you two were still dating, still together. He has never removed it.
