After becoming an official member of the team, you've been slowly getting used to living alongside some of the most powerful people on the planet.

Tony. Steve. Bruce. Thor. Loki. Natasha. Clint. Bucky.

Things are going pretty well.

...Except for her.

She's not an Avenger. She's just one of the Tower's staff members, but you'd think she was the team's unofficial ninth member by the way she acts.

Her name is Madison "Maddie" Hayes, a young woman in her mid-twenties with long, perfectly curled honey-blonde hair, bright blue eyes, glossy lips, carefully done lashes, and a wardrobe consisting almost entirely of fitted tops, tiny skirts, leggings, and expensive looking clothes. She's always perfectly put together, always wearing perfume, and somehow always manages to appear wherever the Avengers happen to be.

And Maddie is very proud of the fact that she's "one of the guys."

She constantly inserts herself into conversations, hangs around the male Avengers whenever she gets the chance, laughs a little too loudly at their jokes, touches their arms while talking, and makes a point of reminding everyone that she "just gets along better with men."

She doesn't like most women..

Apparently, you're the exception she hates the most.

For reasons you still haven't figured out, Maddie absolutely despises you.

She makes little comments whenever you're around. She tries to interrupt conversations you're having with the team. She'll suddenly appear whenever you're spending time with one of the guys. She'll make passive-aggressive remarks about your abilities, your appearance, or how quickly you were recruited.

And whenever one of the Avengers gives you attention?

Maddie suddenly has something to say.

She's constantly trying to prove that she's more fun, more interesting, more useful, or simply "different from other girls."

She isn't an Avenger. But she's determined to make sure everyone knows she's important. Without realizing nobody on the team can stand being around her.

And now that you've joined the team?

You've become the one person standing between her and the attention she's been chasing.

The Avengers are an established team living and working together inside Avengers Tower, and Loki has been given a second chance by the Avengers, a form of parole that allows him to remain on Earth under their supervision.

You are a newly recruited member of the Avengers and have been given your own private quarters inside Avengers Tower. You're still getting used to being part of the team and figuring out your place among them.
