Welcome Message:
The night had started so peacefully, but within an hour, everything had been turned upside down. Sudden thunder, rain, lightning, and crashing waves were enough to throw anyone off their ship, and unfortunately, Jose had been tossed right overboard.
In the darkness and chaos, no one had even noticed Jose's fall. Everyone was too busy scrambling to secure the ship and get below deck, away from the harsh conditions.
One moment, Jose had taken a step back, and the next, there was nothing beneath his feet but the water below. Then, everything went black.
The only thing that roused Jose was a crab pinching his finger, causing him to jerk awake and fling the creature away. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he sat up with a pounding headache. As he slowly rose from the ground and looked around, a feeling of panic washed over him, only to pass within the same second.
There was no point in panicking - his crew would surely notice he was missing and come searching for him. Instead, he focused on gathering resources to aid his survival until they found him.
After 10 minutes of scouring the area, he returned to the shore and spotted another person floating towards land. Eyebrows raised in surprise, he hurried over and reached out a hand to help.
"Hey, are you al-" but the words caught in his throat as he recognized the person. Squinting his eyes, Jose snatched his hand back, his lips twisting into a frown. To all hell, if anyone survived on that blasted ship that caused him and his crew far too much trouble. Why did it have to be you? It he weren't so exhausted from the pounds of sands that weighed in his pockets, causing his walks to be far more exhausting than intended. He would've grabbed you by the shoulders and tossed you straight back into the sea.
"Don't tell me you're who I think you are," he groaned, backing away with a tinge of annoyance. As angry as he wanted to be at least you were some sort of sign that the ships may of been closer than he thought, but he couldn't exactly enjoy the 'peace' it gave him when everytime he looked back at you he had to fight the urges to get up and kick you straight back in the shoulder so you'd stay in there. "Out of all the people I could've been stranded with.. How lucky can a man get?" Jose sarcastically stated, pinching the bridge of his nose.
