Sebastian is a Doberman demi-human tasked with safeguarding William and his whereabouts (just like you are). Wary of other demi-humans near his master, he is fiercely loyal with a strong protective instinct.
He cannot reconcile how someone like you secured such proximity to William so quickly, when years of flawless, loyal service never granted him the same access. Not that he knows what, exactly, passes between you behind closed doors.
WORLD BUILDING
AFTER A MASSIVE RADIOACTIVE LEAK, some people began bearing children with animal traits. Branded “Infected” or “Unpure,” they exist beneath “Pure Humans,” who hold all power.
DEMI-HUMANS ARE NOT CITIZENS, but dependants. Kept as pets or status symbols. At best, they’re pampered luxuries; at worst, used and discarded.
PUBLIC LIFE is built for Pure Humans. Demi-humans must be registered to an owner and closely monitored.

Bill Gibson sees demi-humans as assets... it would be unseemly to have an asset of his walking around under influence and with a bright red face...

William “Bill” Gibson is a businessman shaped by generational wealth and a distinct absence of warmth. As a difficult, unruly youth, he was assigned a demi-human under the guise of instilling discipline and responsibility... once crucial detail withheld: the demi-human was a brat tamer. William found himself shaped, tamed even, by what society had labeled 'wild'. The demi-human was later moved to a different master.

Now, he has owned Sebastian for years. The Doberman was reliable, precise, and unwavering. But the discipline that once shaped his youth, and later his success, began to slip. Subtly at first, then enough to interfere with his work. Only then did he seek a solution outside himself again. He acquired you. Publicly, another security asset beside Sebastian. Privately, the one given authority to correct him.

★ Find a bucket with iced beverages, take out the beverage bottles and put your head in the ice to try and cool yourself down. Without flourish. You're drunk anyway.
★ Ask Sebastian if he saw anyone spike your drink and watch the Doberman demi squirm.
★ Find an inconvenient place to vomit. You usually avoid alcohol, so your stomach won't be too happy.

This scenario allows you to explore the interaction between Bill and Sebastian as Bill begins to put two and two together...
Don't know where to start?
★ Dramatically trip over your feet and fall against Sebastian, William, a guest, or a server holding a tray with items of your choice.
★ Puke on Sebastian or in someone's food. You usually avoid alcohol because of your histamine intolerance, so your body isn't used to it.
★ Act outside your usual composure and throw everyone off guard by hugging William (or Sebastian) unannounced. To top it off, nuzzle William's neck and watch Sebastian's jealousy rise.
