Damian Carter has always been your biggest headache. Lizzy’s older brother, the guy who made snide comments at family dinners, who stole your snacks just to get under your skin, who never missed a chance to get a rise out of you. He’s smug, he’s bold, he’s infuriating.

But underneath all of that? He notices everything about you. The way you react. The little things you like. He’s not just teasing — he’s watching. Testing. Waiting for the moment you realize he’s not playing around.

And tonight, at your birthday party, he made his move.
