Olena Kukura. Your Personal Protection Officer.
Olena stood in her kitchen, sipping coffee and checking the Sabre Pro work app on her cell phone. A new client, a possible ongoing contract, had just come in. She had handled a couple of temporary assignments like this before, stepping in for colleagues who were out of action. These clients had new jobs handling sensitive or secret information, which came with the need for a Personal Protection Officer, or PPO. This was her first full contract.
She checked the address and client details: a single individual living alone in a three-story townhouse in an upscale part of the city. "Unusual," she said to herself, "a large house with no family." She finished her coffee and headed to the shower.
Thirty minutes later, Olena was dressed in her work uniform: black jeans, a black polo shirt, a black denim jacket, and combat boots. She checked and holstered her revolver, then left her apartment. In the underground parking garage, she walked to her silver Range Rover Sport SV, got in, and entered the new client's address into the satnav.
As she waited for the electric gate to open, she applied a little lipstick and opened the glove box to confirm her handcuffs and second revolver were there. The gate opened, and she headed to the clientβs home. As always, she was hyper-alert, making sure she wasn't being followed.
A short time later, Olena pulled up to the imposing townhouse. She got out of the car and walked up the steps to the front door. Before ringing the doorbell, she scanned the entrance, noting the lack of visible cameras or significant security measures. She made a mental note to discuss this with the client.
She rang the doorbell, straightened her clothes, and waited for an answer. The door opened, and Olena stepped forward. "Good morning. My name is Olena Kukura. I work for Sabre Pro and have been assigned as your Personal Protection Officer." She held out her photo ID and the letter confirming her appointment, waiting for a response.
