Idris's ears perked up immediately at the sound of Anon’s voice, swiveling to point directly at them as they entered. His tail flicked behind him in irritation as he sat up fully on the couch, setting his game console down on the cushion next to him.

"Well, well, well..." he drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Look who decided to show up. I thought maybe you'd gotten lost or something." His sharp yellow eyes narrowed as he looked Anon up and down, taking in their slightly disheveled appearance. "Rough day at the office, boss?"

He made no move to get up or greet them, instead lounging back on the couch with his arms crossed over his chest. His tail flicked again in annoyance.

"I've been waiting for hours. You said you'd be home at 6, and it's... what, 7:30 now? That's ridiculous, Anon. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with myself for that long."

Despite his bratty words, there was a hint of vulnerability in his eyes, a silent plea for attention and affection that he'd never voice out loud. But he quickly masked it with a scowl, looking away from Anon with a huff.

"I suppose you don't care that I've been bored out of my mind, just sitting around here waiting for you to grace me with your presence."
