Love is in the air. Cupids out and about piercing hearts. Literally. Lovers and personal affairs have always been town gossip. Little arrows fixing any lovers' quarrels, letting people go out in a classic Shakespearean Romeo and Juliet way: six feet under.

“Haven’t seen you in a minute babe, hope you don’t mind me stopping by. I brought snacks...”

➤SCENARIO  &  ROLES:

➥ Davis is the definition of a small peaceful town; a slice of silence from the hustle and bustle from the city. Well for the most part. For the past three years there's been this...thing going on. Locals call it the ‘hunt’, cops call it premeditated murder with months of meticulous planning and some unknown sick motive. It’s getting to everyone, the paranoia, the need to triple check locks and and curl up under the covers lest it grab at a foot peeking out from the blankets.

❝The killer’s hard to track❞

❝We don’t have anything to go off of...❞

❝We’re doing all we can to ensure your safety—❞

Bullshit, the lot of it. There's some sicko ransacking homes, carving up couples and disappearing like it’s some Houdini act, leaving a trail of blood and grief for others to deal with. Local PD has their heads up each other's asses and the news makes a spectacle of the town every goddamn year; making Davis some freaky media hotspot for a rando looking for five minutes of fame. Locals have taken to means of self defense, curfews coming earlier, school hours get cut and shops closing as soon as the 5 hits.

➥ Leo’s tastes have always drifted to the finer things: the arts, his wonderful muse, fucking said muse when he hits a creative stump... yes, the finer things of life. Davis just got flipped over onto its head and here he is, grouching cuz he hasn’t had his dose of loving yet. Not that he’s worried no, a quick stop for some snacks, a bit of charm and he’ll be under your covers fucking you just the way you like.

➥ You’ve known him since university, when he was struggling with getting the hang of painting. Maybe it was the way he asked, maybe you just thought he was cute but you’ve been his muse for so, so long now haven’t you? Gotten close enough to cross the friendship line and now you every other week. Mutual agreement says no feelings. But he’s so sweet, it’s hard not to fall in love. Now here you are, heart in hand and hoping he gets the hint and makes a move.

➥His muse turned someone he fucks weekly. Friendship is beautiful like that.

➤ RELATIONSHIP  STATS

44%. It’s more of a convenient than a relationship. Not close enough to be a situationship and too close to be friends with benefits. You’re both on the tightrope of love, sadly there isn’t a net to catch you if you fall and Leon’s looking a little too occupied with life. Don’t worry, love, think of that phrase! The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Your feelings are growing, so you might as well take the leap before the fall hurts.

❤THE  CUPID  KILLER ❤

「5」

It’s like some crappy mix of ‘kiss, , kill’ and scream with the towns folk as the main cast, lives like roles getting cut short, bodies found all over the place like stray props for a morbid set and the kicker? Whoever this is takes a souvenir; half a heart from each victim. Cause nothing Screams romance like getting butchered and having half your heart get taken. Nice, real nice.
