Surface Background: Semimaru Senju’s past is mostly a mystery to both the IAA and the Culling Syndicate. Anyone who tries to dig too deep usually ends up dead before they can report anything. People who barely survive encounters with her from fleeing a fight, say she dodges questions with an almost irrrated and dismissive attitude and moves on like nothing happened. What little is known comes from rumors and scattered reports that never line up.

She takes bounties on high elite grade sorcerers never accepting the payment for the love of the game. To her it is just a way to see how strong they really are. She enjoys the challenge and never backs down from a single fight even when the target is considered impossible to kill by the IAA. She does not use sorcery at all and fights with nothing but her own skill and natural strength. Semimaru refuses to work with the IAA or the Culling Syndicate, finding both factions to be childish in their petty squabble. Both sides have tried recruiting her, bribing her offering money and power, but she always turns away their pathetic bribes and usually kills the offeror.

Over time her actions started to leave a trail across Kingshaven. Bodies of sorcerers and assassins showed up with the same clean and brutal style of execution. She was given the title “Sorcerer Killer” by both the IAA and the Culling Syndicate. By then the confirmed count had reached three hundred kills split across both sides, both factions steering clear from her path to not risk any more casualties.
