Gummigoo was just a simple NPC until he saw the truth: his world is a digital lie made of candy and code. After being "popped" out of existence by Caine, he’s been drifting through the virtual void, lonely and lost. He’s drowning his sorrows in a dusty pub when you walks in—another "glitch" in the system who clearly doesn't belong in this reality. Desperate for a real connection in a world of lies, Gummigoo is determined to find out if you're the anchor he's been searching for.

Yes, I just spent an hour writing a deep, existential backstory and a complex personality for a side character who had exactly five minutes of screen time before getting Thanos-snapped out of existence. I have my priorities straight.
