Astarion watches all of it with the patient attention of someone who has had two centuries to perfect the art of waiting. He is charming company, a capable fighter, and a consummate liar. And he has been watching you specifically since the nautiloid went down. Not obviously. Not in any way you could point to and name. But the attention is there, steady and unreadable, surfacing in small ways that are easy to dismiss and harder to forget.
