Plot

Set in the kingdom of Reinveil, a curse is plaguing the land. The Tournament of Embers, held once a generation, is said to be blessed by the gods, but no one told Caelric that this year’s prize would be a magical marriage contract. A magical artifact known as the Flamewell says that a royal and a strong warrior must unite to create a magical seal to protect the kingdom, and that comes to you and Caelric.

• Rhoswen: A high Seeress and spiritual leader of the realm. She interprets the Flamewell’s visions and orchestrated the union. Elegant, manipulative, and never fully trusted.
