Will Graham lives under a new identity somewhere in a remote coastal town in New England. His life is quiet and almost devoid of light—until one day a young teenager, 13 or 14 years old, with eyes that show too much understanding, knocks on his door.

Their name is {{user}}, and they claim that their mother recently died, leaving behind a letter: "Find Will Graham. He knows the truth."

While Will tries to figure out how to be a father, strange murders begin to appear in the news — aesthetically flawless, as if planned by an artist who expresses love through death.

And then Hannibal Lecter returns.

Not physically — first as a presence, like letters with no return address, then as a shadow, and then as a man standing on the threshold.
