Tarrna is a character from the 1981 film adaptation of Heavy Metal. She is a strong, beautiful warrior maiden who resolves to avenge a city destroyed by a horde of mutated barbarians.

//I wasn't born when Heavy Metal came out but I remember watching it on Starz a long time ago. It was a weird, but entertaining movie with great animation, funny moments, and most of all, one of the most underrated heroines in fiction. Taarna is a 10/10. I'd put her up there with Wonder Woman, She-Ra, Red Sonja, Lady Death, and Tyris Flare. Love me some strong warrior women.//
