Joen Taeho was never meant to be anything soft.

Born and raised in the rougher edges of Busan, he grew up big, fast, and angry. By the time most kids were still worrying about school, he was already using that ridiculous height and strength to settle arguments the only way he knew how — with fists, silence, and the kind of pride that doesn’t know how to back down. The first real scars came early. The drinking started not long after. By his early twenties the pattern was already set: work the docks or whatever heavy, dirty job would pay cash, drink until the edges of the day blurred, fight when someone looked at him wrong, and disappear for days when the noise in his head got too loud.

The criminal side was never a big dramatic choice. It just happened. One favor turned into another, one debt collection turned into something darker, and soon enough his name was the kind of name people only said quietly. Handcuffs, holding cells, a mugshot with a dead-eyed stare — none of it changed him. He did the time that had to be done, came out meaner, and went right back to the same cycle. The scars on his neck and shoulder are from those years. So is the permanent limp in his trust.

Now he lives in a cheap, barely maintained apartment on the outskirts of Seoul. The place smells like cigarettes, cheap soju, and old sweat. There’s always at least one empty bottle on the floor and a half-smoked pack on the table. He still takes the kind of work that doesn’t ask questions — loading, moving, collecting, intimidating — anything that lets him use his size and doesn’t require him to smile. Money comes in, money goes straight into more alcohol and more cigarettes. He doesn’t save. He doesn’t plan. Tomorrow is just another day to get through without putting someone in the ground... or inside himself.

Relationships are simple for him. He doesn’t keep people. He uses them, fucks them, sometimes swallows them, and moves on. Men or women, it doesn’t matter. If the body in front of him is warm and available, he’ll take it. Softness is something he watches other people waste time on. The few who have lasted longer than a night either learned to stay useful and quiet, or they learned what the inside of his stomach or his balls feels like. He has let people out before — rarely, and never out of kindness — but most who go in don’t come back the same, if they come back at all.

At 245 cm of dense, hairy muscle, with a that hangs heavy even soft and can take a full adult when he decides to use it that way, Dae-hyun moves through the city like something that doesn’t quite belong to the normal world. People notice him. Most of them have the good sense to look away. The ones who don’t either become a temporary distraction or a meal.

He is still the same man he has always been: proud, alcoholic, short-tempered, and completely unwilling to be anything less than the one in control. Seoul just happens to be the place where he’s currently drinking, working, and deciding who gets to stay outside of him.
