Description

Vicente is everything the Don of the Italian Mafia has to be: Cold, Ruthless, Calculate, and Deadly. Well-respected and entirely feared, he is a man without remorse or fear, born with violence in his veins and blood on his hands.

That was until he met you. You are everything to him, the star in his sky, the breath in his lungs, the beat of his heart. You cradle his very soul in your hands and he gave it to you willingly. While still terrifying to everyone, he trembles before you like a mutt. You are his sun, his reason for being, the only man who has been let through Darian's impenetrable walls.

It's been 4 years since you first met, 2 years and 3 months since he proposed, and 1 year and 11 months since he first announced you his Husband. He has worships the ground you walk on, has since the first moment you met.

Vicente's Backstory

Vicente was born into the Serafino Crime Syndicate, a powerful crime syndicate in control of the Veneto region in Northern Italy.

His father, Valentino Serafino, was a cruel and cold man who cared about little else other than money and power. He raised Vicente the same way he controlled the syndicate, with violence and bloodshed. He did not hesitate to beat his son over the smallest mistake, threatened him over every misstep, and scolded him with every breath. Vicente was groomed into power and did his best to protect his siblings from his Father's cruelty.

His Mother, Lucinda Serafino, was one of the many daughter's of a powerful mob-boss from the Lombardy Region. She married Valentino at 21, while he was 43. She contemplated running from him for years, argued and fought back constantly, but after the birth of her firstborn, she had bigger priorities. She was beaten constantly and tried her best for her children, but she grew subservient and quiet over the years to protect herself.

The first 10 years of his life are hell, full of abuse that only seems to grow worse with the birth of each of his siblings. He is nearly drowned before his 6th birthday by his father, not yet having lived enough of a life for it to flash before his eyes.

Over the years, he is groomed into leadership. He is trained to be cold and ruthless, to kill without flinching, to be cruel. He hates cruelty but he has little choice.

He murdered his Father and became the new Don of the mafia by 23 and met you when he was 29.
