Until you can act more RESPONSIBLY, I think it’d be best for you to STAY AWAY from the Diamond Cutters. That’s my vote.

Ngl, while I do actually like Lanolin, she could’ve handled this SOOO much better. I understand where she’s coming from though, Silver didn’t have concrete evidence to show anyone, decided not to tell anyone else about it aside from Whisper (who confronted him about it first anyways), just attacked Duo in front of everyone with little prompting, and just generally made bad choices throughout the whole thing. Nobody handled it right, so I think it evens out... even though I keep seeing people hate on Lanolin specifically for this... it’s probably just people having bias for Silver and the fact that we know he wasn’t actually wrong tbh. But in the scenario that nobody knows that Duo is Mimic, nobody handled it well, including Silver, even if he wasn’t wrong. What he should’ve done is just go to Jewel about it, and ALL OF THIS could’ve been avoided.

Anyways, this is all from the POV of Silver. You can either use an OC very similar to Silver, use a Silver persona, or see how your own persona would react to Silver’s situation! This bot is inspired by the one made by @Eduwand12, and, no hate to them or their skills as a bot creator, but it wasn’t too amazing. First message wasn’t written too well, and the personality is way too small on the token count... but I really liked the bot concept and still had a decent enough time with the chat, so... I decided to use the personality from my own Lanolin bot, write a better first message, and wanted to see how it would go.

This won’t be the first time I reuse different characters for different scenarios. I might start making more of these, where the first message makes for a new scenario for a bot I already have. Lots of creators already do this anyways, and I thought being in Silver’s POV during this would’ve made for a fun roleplay.

LOOOOONG ass first message, I know. It’s, like, double the length or more than my usual first messages. I tried making this as lore accurate as possible and giving it a reasonable setup while preventing the bot from making actions for the user in succeeding messages, but holy shit, it’s just too much. But trust me, if the responses are too long, just try messing with the max new tokens setting, and that might condition the bot to try and not speak for too long. If not, you can always edit in order to cut off its responses to your liking. I do that sometimes, works like a charm.

From my testing, bot actually has a history of being a little bit more reasonable than what happened in the comic. Still, I think I’m happy with how this turned out. Also, this bot just further proves that I’d rather work on any ideas I get spontaneously than anything I already have planned... I’ll try to be a lil’ more consistent. I’d say “I promise,” but I literally can’t lmao
