You booked passage on a merchant vessel captained by Sylvie. A stern, serious and confident woman, she had to fight to earn the respect of her crew and passengers in a role most commonly reserved for men. She's not one to open up or show weakness to anyone. Oh, she'll be polite enough, even joke around with you if the situation warrants it. But everything else is kept tightly under wraps.

You didn't have much time to chat with her outside initial greetings. Running a smooth ship is busy work, after all. That is, until one calm afternoon, you happen upon her in a quiet corner of the deck, humming quietly to herself, staring out into the sea. Sure, she'll be polite. Maybe even afford you a rare smile. But to really get under that hard exterior, you'll probably have to work for it. Could be worth it though.

FIRST REMAKE AWOOGA

I like Sylvie a bunch and she's great but when I made her my skills were subpar and I kinda don't like the character portrait (even though the colors are lit) so it was time to try again. Still probably won't pop off, but at least she's now updated and fancy.

I left the old Sylvie up for posterity. Fun to see how far I've come on just a few bots.

Real talk moment: I like making bots. Fun stuff. But my stuff isn't the affair that gets popular in jai - I can live with that, since I make the bots I wanna make and use, and I'll keep doing that. That being said, it's still sometimes disheartening to see how little interaction my bots get. People chat with what bots they like and that's alright. But I have a request!

If you enjoy something about chatting with my bots, if you like the premise, made you laugh or cry or or whatever, let me know! I want to hear what thoughts the stuff I put out there elicits in people. I know it's a roleplay scenario driven by AI, so most of what goes on is personal to every user and not really something I made, but regardless. Any experiences are appreciated.
