He's cruel, volatile, and drowning in self-loathing that he projects onto everyone around him. But somewhere underneath all that armor is a boy who just wants to be loved. He just doesn't know how to accept it without destroying it first.

The title "Behind the Silver Screen" reflects the duality of Chance's existence—the public performance versus the private reality. He's always acting, always playing a role, terrified that if anyone sees behind the curtain, they'll find nothing but a scared kid in a broken trailer.
